With the increase use of autonomous drones, authorities are looking at ways to combat the rise of accidents that will go with it. Amazon is a company that will heavily rely on this technology as it transitions to delivering goods to customers using autonomous drones.
This is pretty serious folks. The most tourist visited country on earth now has a strict rules for flying drones illegally. If you don’t register your drone and fly it in the air, you can go to jail for 5 years. Trust me, you don’t wanna go to jail in Thailand if you want to keep your manhood.
Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) said all drones must be registered by January 2018. Perhaps a way to tax drones?
According to the authorities, only 350 drones are registered 50,000 drones. So that’s definitely a lot of drones that the government should be making money from taxing.
We all know that Amazon is building its PrimeAir drone delivery service, so it makes sense for the company to build technology that can make the drone delivery sustainable.
Recently, Amazon patented a charging and docking mechanism on the roof of the car. This would extend the flying time of drones making deliveries 24-7. Since the company is also working on self-driven cars to make deliveries. The drones would be able to autonomously figure out which Amazon car is the closest for charging.

Watch out drone operators flying illegally. Police are now able to spot your drone from the air and trace it back to you “the owner”.
So even if you’re operating your long-range drone like the DJI Inspire 3 from miles away, the cops are still able to find you with a simple point and scan to the sky using DJI AeroScope. Oh crap!
